Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has tonight provided updates on the wellbeing of two members of his squad.

This comes after both set alarm bells ringing in the club’s latest outing.

Real marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming Espanyol to the Spanish capital for a La Liga clash.

When all was said and done, despite falling a goal behind early in the 2nd-half, Los Blancos emerged on the right side of a 4-1 result.

And yet, on an otherwise positive evening’s work for the capital giants, a pair of concerns were also forthcoming, on the personnel front.

The worries in question surrounded the fitness of Jude Bellingham, and Dani Carvajal.

Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle, Carlo Ancelotti, in turn, was inevitably asked for an update on the wellbeing of the two key members of his squad.

And the Italian tactician went on to explain:

“Carvajal took a knock. Bellingham had a problem in his shoulder. We will see tomorrow but it doesn’t seem something serious.”
