RB Leipzig confirm ACL tear for Xaver Schlager | OneFootball
RB Leipzig have confirmed that midfielder Xaver Schlager has torn his ACL and will miss the remainder of the season. The injury will also rule him out for the European championships with Austria this summer.
Schalger suffered the injury against Hoffenheim on Friday and will undergo an operation to repair the knee on Sunday.

“This is a shock for all of us and especially for Xaver,” RB Leipzig Sporting Director Rouven Schröder said. “He is a mainstay in our team and has had a strong season so far, which he wanted to crown by taking part in EURO 2024.”
