Claudio Ranieri is set to receive a special farewell from Roma fans on his last official appearance on the sidelines of the Olimpico.
In times of need he has always been there. Even in mid-November, when Roma were coming off two months of torpor with Juric.
For the third time in his career, Ranieri accepted the Giallorossi bench at a time when the team was dangerously close to the relegation zone. In six months he has given meaning to Roma’s season, which with 180 minutes to go in the league is chasing a place in Europe. And he dreams of the Champions League, but it will also depend on the results of the direct competitors.
Once tonight’s match is over, however, the discussions related to the pitch will leave room for emotions. The Olimpico will pay homage to the coach from San Saba, in his last match as Roma coach in his stadium.
As reported by Il Tempo, the crowd is already sold-out with Roma fans preparing a special choreography in Ranieri’s honor.
