Claudio Ranieri was asked once again about Roma’s new head coach which the club have yet to announce.
The veteran technician, who will soon become Roma’s new senior advisor, attended the “Premio Simpatia 2025” Award Ceremony during which he discussed the upcoming summer for the Giallorossi.
“The new coach? It will certainly be a valid choice, but the most important thing is why I stopped: to give the new coach a chance to plan. There would have been no future with me, so we might as well start earlier and give him the opportunity to get to know everything about the Roma system, the Roma fans.”
“We have to do well and we have to know that there is work to be done: we want to get as high as possible and it takes time. Trust us, you will see that in the end we will be right.”
“Gasperini? I don’t want to name names, I don’t like to do that. Let’s move forward, fight and see when the president wants to announce the name of the new coach.”
