Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola has hit the ground running in the 2024-25 Ligue 1 season, netting four goals in just three games. Moreover, one player believes the youngster can potentially replace Kylian Mbappé’s production.

Going into the 2024-25 season, the big question for Paris Saint-Germain is how they would replace the goal-scoring impact left by Kylian Mbappé’s move to Real Madrid.

While many might have expected it to be a team effort, Barcola has stepped up and shown he’s ready to take on the challenge so far this season. Furthermore, former Olympique Lyonnais teammate Karl Toko-Ekambi believes that Barcola can shoulder the scoring responsibility.

“He has the capacity to compensate for Kylian’s departure,” Ekambi said (h/t Le10Sport). “Even if Kylian is an exceptional player.”

The big question once the international break ends is whether Barcola can keep up his incredible goal-scoring streak, especially with the league phase of the UEFA Champions League about to kick off. If he does, the capital club might have the next great French talent on their hands.
