PSG to reignite interest in Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva | OneFootball

Bernardo Silva (29) represented one of Paris Saint-Germain’s major transfer targets last summer. Ultimately, the Portuguese international remained at Manchester City, however, PSG are set to reignite their interest this summer, according to a report from Le Parisien.

Whilst Silva was open to a departure from the reigning European champions last summer, he remained at the Etihad after Pep Guardiola insisted on retaining the Portuguese international, who has once again played a prominent role this season. However, as reported by Sports Zone, Silva remains keen on a move and he is specifically keen on a move to PSG.

With the player still keen on a move, Les Parisiens are set to reignite their interest this summer, according to Le Parisien. The French club’s strong relationship with Jorge Mendes, who manages the careers of PSG stars such as Warren Zaïre-Emery, Vitinha and Bradley Barcola, could prove decisive. The upcoming departure of Kylian Mbappé could allow PSG to have a degree of financial flexibility to pull off the deal and convince Manchester City to part ways with one of their key players.
