Rúben Amorim’s decision to exclude Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United’s group for last Sunday’s derby against Manchester City has fueled speculation about Rashford’s future at the club.

According to Alex Crook of TalkSPORT, Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad are monitoring Rashford’s situation following his absence from the matchday group. However, TBR Football reports that while Saudi clubs remain keen on Rashford, the forward has made it clear he’s not interested in moving to the Middle East.

On the European front, Laurie Whitwell of The Athletic states that Paris Saint-Germain are not pursuing Rashford. Melissa Reddy of Sky Sports further reports that no clubs are currently targeting the forward, citing concerns about his recent form, off-field conduct, and high wage demands.

According to The Athletic, sources familiar with the Marcus Rashford situation in Saudi Arabia suggest that clubs there are being more selective with their transfer targets.

They feel Rashford’s value has declined and don’t anticipate much interest in him at the moment. Additionally, Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly stepped back from pursuing a move for Rashford.

Amorim has made it clear that he wants Rashford to stay and reconsider his plans to leave, while former United striker Teddy Sheringham has urged Ratcliffe to make it even more difficult for him to depart by placing a £100 million price tag on him.

“Oh, you’ve got to be talking £100m,” Sheringham told Express Sport. “I’m very surprised that there’s talk about him leaving United. I think Man Utd need to keep their best players and get them working to the best of their capabilities. So I’d be very surprised if Marcus leaves.”
