Victor Osimhen’s transfer saga was a major storyline last summer, with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly vying for the Nigerian striker. Now, having rediscovered his stellar 2022-23 form at Galatasaray, he’s poised to draw even more attention from Europe’s elite clubs next year.

After an unsuccessful attempt to leave Napoli, the 25-year-old moved to Galatasaray on loan and has been in sensational form. He’s already racked up 10 goals and five assists in just 14 appearances for the Turkish side this season.

Tuttomercatoweb reports that Osimhen’s release clause is set at approximately €80 million in January, potentially dropping to €70 million next summer. Meanwhile, Daniel Riolo of After Foot RMC suggested PSG could reignite their pursuit of the forward.

CaughtOffside adds that Arsenal and Chelsea are also exploring forward options, with Osimhen and Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović on their radar.

RMC Sport reported on Friday that PSG management has reached out to Osimhen, who is aware of the club’s interest and isn’t indifferent to it. However, he remains happy in Turkey, where he has been warmly welcomed.

That said, bringing Osimhen to PSG is far from straightforward. For one, it’s unclear if Luis Enrique, who showed hesitation last summer, would approve the striker’s signing.

Additionally, there’s the issue of Osimhen’s contractual situation. He is still officially a Napoli player, meaning any potential deal would require a three-way negotiation involving Galatasaray as well.
