The winter transfer window has closed, and for now, Alexander Isak is staying with Newcastle United. While there wasn’t much chatter about a move this winter, several clubs are likely to make another push in the summer.

RMC Sport’s Daniel Riolo recently suggested that PSG, which Fichajes has linked to Isak, should make a strong effort to strengthen its attack under Luis Enrique.

“Wouldn’t you go all-in on Alexander Isak if you were PSG?” Riolo said. “PSG could very well go all-in. Can we swap Ramos and Kolo Muani for Isak? Can we make a package like that? You also add Asensio to the package. And come on, I’ll throw in Kang-In Lee too.”

Arsenal has also shown interest, but according to FootballTransfers, Liverpool is currently the most determined suitor and leads the race for his signature.

RMC Sport reports that PSG are ready to offer Goncalo Ramos, Randal Kolo Muani, and Marco Asensio in a swap deal to sign Isak from Newcastle.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are reportedly targeting Isak ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Sky Switzerland journalist Sacha Tavolieri.

The Reds are said to be in talks with Isak’s representatives about a potential move to Anfield and are preparing a substantial offer for the “world-class” Sweden international.

Tavolieri also notes that Liverpool are willing to depart from their usual transfer approach and spend big to secure the 25-year-old forward this summer.

Newcastle have reportedly set Isak’s asking price at €180 million (£150 million), which would make him Liverpool’s record signing, surpassing the £85 million they paid for Darwin Nunez in 2022.
