Matches against Juventus at Vinovo always promise entertainment and excitement, and AC Milan Primavera rose to the challenge today, picking up three vital points after their midweek victory over Inter in the Coppa Italia. It was a courageous display full of maturity from Coach Guide’s side, who ran out 3-0 winners thanks to goals from Bonomi, Sala and Victor. The Rossoneri now have 43 points, six more than the Bianconeri, who sit directly behind them in the league table.
It represents a fantastic and encouraging result for AC Milan Primavera, who were looking to stay hot on the heels of the teams above them. The Rossoneri came under pressure early on but held firm and made the most of the first opportunity that came their way. Indeed, Bonomi won and converted a penalty, thanks to which our U20s took a lead into half-time despite Juventus’ early pressure. Sala then doubled the Diavolo’s advantage from a Magni assist, before Victor put the game to bed from distance.

MATCH REPORT Juventus pushed forward early on as AC Milan struggled to put together any attacking moves. Nevertheless, the first big goalscoring opportunity for the hosts didn’t arrive until the 21st minute, when Lopez fired wide with his left foot. The Rossoneri then went up the other end and opened the scoring: Bonomi was fouled by Finocchiaro in the box, resulting in an AC Milan penalty. The Rossoneri No.30 then stepped up and kept his cool from the spot, sending Zelezny the wrong way. The tempo of the match then picked up, with Finocchiaro threatening for the hosts on two occasions (36’) and (45’). Between those efforts, Zelezny made a fine stop to prevent Ossola from doubling the Rossoneri’s advantage.
At the start of the second half, Magni produced a fantastic bit of skill to reach the byline, where he played in a perfect ball for Sala to head home and make it 2-0. The Rossoneri proceeded to dominate, with Juventus very much on the ropes. Scotti and Ossola both came close for the Diavolo, who scored a third through Victor Eletu in the 67th minute: the Rossoneri captain received and controlled the ball outside the box before firing past Zelezny from a central position. AC Milan kept on pushing, with the bar denying Scotti (79’) and Pagnucco clearing a shot from the newly introduced Ibrahimović off the line late on. It finished 3-0.
