The most captivating clash represents a gateway to a dream. Real Madrid stands in the way of the AC Milan Primavera and the chance to repeat last year's historic result, reaching the UEFA Youth League final-four. All to play for in 90 minutes, then penalties if it ends in a draw, in front of friendly faces at the Rossoneri's PUMA House of Football.
The two most decorated Champions League sides in history will face off in the most important competition in European youth football, writing a new chapter in a rivalry that has impacted Rossoneri history. There is something in common about the journey of Abate and Arbeloa's sides that has brought them to the afternoon of Wednesday 13 March.
Both of them, in fact, faced Portuguese side Braga. The opposition that Zeroli and co. faced in the last 16 on 28 February is the only side to have got in the way of the Blancos who have otherwise won every game. Two 0-0 draws against Real Madrid, both home and away, who then beat Napoli (6-0 and 4-0) and Union Berlin (2-1 and 2-0) twice in Group C, before the 2-0 win over Leipzig in the last round.
The "Juvenil A" is in great form, with their last defeat dating back to a 2-1 against Espanyol in the youth Copa del Rey on 24 January. Only victories from there out: aside from the aforementioned win over Leipzig, they have has seven consecutive league wins, including a 3-0 away victory over C.D. Numancia de Soria. In the "División de Honor Juvenil" the Blancos are cruising in second, 4 points away from leaders Atlético. The aim will be to repeat the domestic title win from last season, but first, an eye on the meeting with the Rossoneri.
The PUMA House of Football is SOLD OUT for our Youth League tie against Real Madrid at 16:00 CET on Wednesday 13 March.
