Coach Igor Tudor, Manuel Locatelli, Kenan Yildiz and Michele Di Gregorio spoke to the press after Juventus’ 2-1 win against Lecce on Matchday 32 of the Serie A season.

IGOR TUDOR

"The result was fair: it was a great first half performance, a good second half and a bit of a struggle in the closing stages, but if we had scored two more goals in the first half, the game would already have been put to bed. [Teun] Koopmeiners? I can see that he is emerging from a tough period: he's quick in his thinking, and he is moving with more fluidity as a result. I'm happy for him, he's an important player. I'm sorry that some players are playing less, but my job is to make choices, and I want the players to challenge me. Today I didn't like the changes, in the approach to coming into the game. This is like a school and you have to grow quickly, all together. [Dusan] Vlahovic is at the centre of the project, but so are all the lads: he had a good match, in all aspects, he just lacked the goal. The league table? We'll look at it on the last day.”

MANUEL LOCATELLI

"It is clear that we are putting a lot more energy into our performances and showing a lot of enthusiasm. That's what the coach asked us to do, he asked us to approach the game in a strong way and to continue like that, that's what we have to do. We have to approach matches like this. Today we needed to put the game to bed earlier, then at the end we conceded an avoidable goal and we suffered a bit, but these are three important points for us. The fun here is winning, you have fun when you win, the rest is talk. We're trying to approach games well, we played well at times today, even if we should have closed it out earlier.”

KENAN YILDIZ

“I simply try to play my football and I am happy to do so. Dusan had a great game, I am very happy for him and for us. It's not easy to play a pass like that with one touch, on the occasion of the goal he played a great pass to me and I finished it."

MICHELE DI GREGORIO

"I am happy with the good result, but the goal we conceded at the end leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, especially after 80 minutes of a high-level performance. It's a pity because we gave Lecce some encouragement, we have to understand why that happened by watching the game again. So far I feel I have grown a lot, this is a club that is not like the others, expectations are high. Being the goalkeeper for Juve is a great honour and provides motivation to always grow. The two defeats against Atalanta and Fiorentina were tough, for the club but also for each of us. We had to look at ourselves in the mirror and it was important to understand that we had to give more, with Tudor we increased our aggressiveness, also in training during the week. We have to give everything to achieve our goal."
