Brighton have announced the signing of Diego Coppola from Hellas Verona. The Italian centre-back is said to have cost £9m.

Left-back Adrien Truffert has signed a five-year contract with Bournemouth following his £11.4m move from Rennes. The transfer paves the way for Milos Kerkez to join Liverpool.

Aston Villa defender Josh Feeney has been sent on loan to Huddersfield Town.

Rumours and Speculation

Nico Williams has seemingly chosen Barcelona over Arsenal and Bayern Munich. Fabrizio Romano claims they plan on activating his £51m release clause after getting the Athletic Club de Bilbao player’s “total priority”. This one may require Barça to find more palancas to fund the fee and his wages…

Hugo Ekitike is open to joining Manchester United after the Red Devils enquired about the Eintracht Frankfurt striker, according to Sky Sports. The German outfit are likely to hold firm on their €100m valuation of the player, who has also been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool.

The future of Son Heung-min is uncertain. Multiple reports claim that Spurs will make a decision on the forward after their pre-season tour of South Korea, during which they are contractually obligated to feature the 32-year-old. In January his contract was extended until 2026.

Everton are the latest club to throw their hat in the ring for Manchester City‘s Kyle Walker, per The Times. They are in the market for a new right-back, with Kenny Tete, Kyle Walker-Peters and Vladimir Coufal also on their shortlist.

Jack Grealish, Jadon Sancho and Darwin Nunez have all been linked with a move to Napoli. The Serie A champions are also said to be interested in Alejandro Garnacho, although he reportedly would prefer to stay in the Premier League. Nunez has also been linked with AC Milan.

L’Equipe report that Chelsea have opened casual talks Lyon over a potential deal for Malick Fofana, while Liverpool have spoken with the forward’s agent. Manchester United and Nottingham Forest are also interested in the 20-year-old.

Athletic Club, Marseille, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Inter Milan, and Napoli have all shown interest in former City defender Aymeric Laporte, who currently plays for Al Nassr, according to AS.

Wolves face competition from Fenerbahce for Nice’s Evann Guessand after Sky Sports claimed Jose Mourinho had a Zoom call with the play his representatives on Monday. Nice have rejected a bid worth €25m plus €5m in add-ons from the Turkish outfit.

Sky also report that Leeds United are close to signing Udinese centre-back Jaka Bijol for around €22m and have submitted a €25m bid for Strasbourg midfielder Habib Diarra. They are also interested in Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz.
