Whilst Juventus remain in pole position to sign Randal Kolo Muani (26) this summer, a deal is not yet completed and English sides are waiting in the wings, L’Équipe report.
Kolo Muani spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus from Paris Saint-Germain. The Frenchman started well, before tailing off towards the end of the campaign, however, the Italian’s have publicly stated a desire to retain him. Kolo Muani too has made a return to the Turin-based side a priority this summer.
There are talks between PSG and Juventus to those ends, however, they are currently at deadlock. The issue is about the structure of the deal, with Juventus not prepared to pay a large installment this year. PSG, overall, have set an objective to garner a fee of around €60m.
Kolo Muani is also frustrated by recent leaks in Italian media, which indicated that the former FC Nantes forward had reached a contractual agreement with Juventus, which is not the case. Juventus remain the favourites to sign him, L’Équipe understands, however, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle United are all waiting in the wings.
