Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim will have big decisions to make ahead of this Sunday’s Premier League contest against Wolves.
The Red Devils completed a comeback for the ages against Olympique Lyonnais to book their place in the Europa League semi-finals. However, they had to expend an immense amount of physical and mental energy in the process.
Therefore, the club’s supporters are worried about a hangover ahead of the weekend clash. Even though another defeat can do little damage to their already-doomed league campaign, the team would do well to build some momentum ahead of the two semi-final clashes against Athletic Bilbao.
Nevertheless, Amorim could be forced to make major changes to his lineup, beginning by dropping his two closest allies and compatriots, Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot.
The Portuguese duo have hardly missed a beat this season, but the manager confirmed the wingback was exhausted at the end of the gruelling second leg against Lyon, while risking Bruno in a league fixture with little to no implications could be useless.

Andre Onana is expected to keep his place in goal after rebounding with a solid display. Victor Lindelof should be available once more after disappearing from Old Trafford due to a personal emergency on Thursday night.
The Swedish defender could be joined by Lenny Yoro at the back, while Luke Shaw could get the nod as well, with Harry Maguire afforded some rest following his heroics.
Noussair Mazraoui is the natural choice to cover for Dalot on the right flank, while Harry Amass could make his first starting appearance at Old Trafford, dropping Patrick Dorgu to the bench.
With Casemiro expected to be rested after a colossal 120 minutes on Thursday, Christian Eriksen and Manuel Ugarte could combine in the double pivot, with Kobbie Mainoo and Mason Mount in front of them.
Even though Amorim tipped Chido Obi-Martin to gain some minutes, Rasmus Hojlund could be the favourite to start in the hopes of reconciling with the net and gaining a timely morale boost.
Man Utd predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Onana; Yoro, Lindelof, Shaw; Mazraoui, Eriksen, Ugarte, Amass; Mainoo, Mount; Hojlund
