Have things completely clicked at Real Madrid yet? Not quite, but they still have the individual quality to win most games of football. Despite not playing particularly well, Los Blancos have won their last three games in all competitions, including a crucial Champions League clash with Stuttgart in midweek.

9. Celtic (new entry)

After watching them record their biggest ever UEFA Champions League win in front of a raucous Parkhead crowd, we had get Celtic on this list. The thumping 5-1 win over Slovan Bratislava was thoroughly impressive, just like their domestic form. Brendan Rodgers' side have won all five of their games in the Scottish Premiership thus far, scoring 14 unanswered goals in the process. That's pretty damn good form.

Atletico Madrid made some pretty big splashes in the summer transfer window and, so far, they're paying dividends. The likes of Conor Gallagher and Julian Alvarez have bedded in well at Diego Simeone's side, helping their new team to an unbeaten start to the 2024/25 season. Nice one.

7. Bayer Leverkusen (new entry)

After finally losing a game of football prior to the international break - to RB Leipzig, if you're wondering - Bayer Leverkusen have looked hellbent on starting up a new unbeaten run in recent weeks. Xabi Alonso's side followed up a 4-1 thumping of Hoffenheim with an even more eye-catching 4-0 win over Feyenoord in the Champions League in midweek. Leverkusen mean business.

6. Juventus (up 3)

Pitted against a PSV Eindhoven team that had scored 20 goals in five Eredivisie games in 2024/25, Thiago Motta's new-look Juventus faced their biggest test to date on Tuesday evening. And they passed it with flying colours. The 3-1 win at the Allianz Stadium, inspired by new number ten Kenan Yildiz, shows that Juve may be good enough to compete in the latter stages of the Champions League again.

5. Barcelona (down 2)

Had Eric Garcia not received his marching orders inside the opening 10 minutes of their clash with Monaco on Thursday, chances are that Barcelona would be top of the rankings this week. That red card ultimately cost Barca their 100% record at the start of the new campaign, with Monaco earning a shock 2-1 win at an even more shockingly packed Stade Louis II.

4. Paris Saint-Germain (up 2)

Five games = five wins. Paris Saint-Germain have been on cruise control in Ligue 1, but were certainly made to work for their opening win the Champions League by Girona. A comical own goal from Paulo Gazzaniga in the final minute of the game kept PSG's perfect record intact. Just.

3. Sporting CP (up 2)

Viktor Gyokeres has scored nine goals in six games for Sporting CP. It's no wonder that they've won every Liga Portugal and Champions League game they've played thus far. Expect a few Premier League clubs to be in for the talented striker in January.

2. Manchester City (down 1)

Man City are off the top spot this week thanks to their 0-0 draw with Inter in the Champions League on Wednesday.Drawing with the Serie A champions isn't necessarily a bad result, we just have very high standards here at 90min Power Rankings HQ.

1. Bayern Munich (up 7)

Bayern Munich have scored 15 goals since the international break. Yes, 15 goals in two games. The 6-1 win over Holstein Kiel in the Bundesliga was followed up by an outrageous 9-2 win over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League. That is a completely ridiculous sentence. They're back to their best.
