Atletico Madrid have been a fixture in our Power Rankings table for some time but the Spanish side are now clinging to their place in the top 10.
Diego Simeoneâs side have won just one of their last four â and even that victory ended in aggregate defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League. At the weekend, Atletico blew a 2-0 lead to lose to title rivals Barcelona in La Liga, a deflating result for the Rojiblancos. Leading by two goals after 71 minutes, it was a deflating result for Atleti.
Thereâs plenty to ponder during the international break.
Brighton slip one place but the unbeaten run continues.
Itâs seven games without defeat for the Seagulls, who were unfortunate to leave Manchester City with only a point last weekend.
