Tottenham Hotspur will be eager to bounce back to winning ways when they face Rangers in the Europa League on Thursday.
Spurs have not won in their last four games in all competitions, and manager Ange Postecoglou is under pressure. However, he retains chairman Daniel Levy’s support.
They drew 2-2 with Roma in their last European outing and face a tough challenge against Rangers at Ibrox.
Tottenham head into the game on the back of a demoralising 4-3 defeat against Chelsea, and Postecoglou will be looking to make a few changes to the team.
Postecoglou enjoyed great success during his spell with Celtic in Glasgow, and he will be looking to pick up another victory against Rangers.
Both teams are on ten points, but Rangers have a better goal difference.
Postecoglou will have limited options following more injury issues, but he can still field a strong line-up capable of picking up three points.
Fraser Forster should continue in goal, which means Brandon Austin may have to wait for his chance.
Cristian Romero grabbed headlines for his comments on the club’s ambitions after the loss against Chelsea, but his injury problems are a big concern. He could be out for up to six weeks.
Even if Micky van de Ven is fit to play, he could be rested for this game. Archie Gray and Radu Dragusin are more likely to start.
Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma were shockingly poor against Chelsea in the last game. Sarr gave away a penalty after a poor challenge on Cole Palmer last week.
Rodrigo Bentancur is eligible to play in Europe, and he is a guaranteed starter. James Maddison and Lucas Bergvall also deserve to start.
Timo Werner was superb in his cameo role against Chelsea, and he should get the nod ahead of Brennan Johnson.
Predicted Tottenham starting line-up vs Rangers: Forster, Udogie, Dragusin, Porro, Gray, Bentancur, Bergvall, Maddison, Kulusevski, Werner, Solanke.
