Danilo, Nuno Mendes, Gonçalo Ramos and Vitinha were part of the Portugal squad that secured a 2-1 win over Czechia in their opening EURO 2024 game.

Portugal scored a late winner to take the three points. Nuno Mendes and Vitinha were replaced in added time at the end of the game with the latter named man of the match for his performance.
