Pisa reject Tottenham’s approach for Francesco Coppola | OneFootball

Newly promoted Serie A side Pisa are already fighting to keep a key talent, with Tottenham keeping a close eye on Francesco Coppola.

La Nazione, as relayed by TMW have reported that Spurs are interested in the young centre-back, who spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Serie C side Vis Pesaro.

Executives from Pisa were present in Bilbao earlier this week to watch Tottenham’s Europa League clash against Manchester United. But so far, the Italian side have rejected Ange Postecoglou’s side’s requests for the talent.

The outlet claim that only unmissable offers will be accepted by Pisa, who want to build a team around Coppola next season in Serie A.

Apart from Tottenham, there is also interest from Lens and the French club had an offer rejected for the talent in the January transfer window. They had offered a fee of €4 million and it is easy to assume that Coppola’s value is now higher than that.
