Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in discussions over Marseille return | OneFootball

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (36) is in talks with Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah over a contract termination, which has alerted several European clubs to his unexpected availability this summer. Le Parisien journalist Marc Mechenoua reports that Aubameyang has received several offers including from former club Olympique de Marseille. In recent hours, the former Arsenal man and the Olympien club have been discussing the feasibility of a return to Marseille this summer. The former Arsenal man spent the 2023-2024 season with OM, featuring in 51 matches and scoring 30 goals whilst registering 11 assists. Whilst he initially struggled to win over Marseille supporters with his performances in Ligue 1, a UEFA Europa League run to the semi-finals was a breeding ground for goals for the Gabon international. The former Dortmund and Chelsea man left the club as a fan favourite, before he joined Saudi side Al-Qadsiah.
