🏅 PFA Player and Young Player of the Year nominees for 2022/23 revealed | OneFootball

The Professional Footballers’ Association have revealed the six players nominated for the Players’ Player of the Season Award for 2022/23.

Manchester City lead the way, with Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland and John Stones all receiving a nod from their fellow professionals.

The top six is rounded out in north London with Martin Ødegaard, Bukayo Saka and departed Tottenham striker Harry Kane all included.

Haaland was the recipient of the Football Writers’ Association Award for the 2022/23 campaign and will be the favourite to collect another of the most prestigious prizes in the English game.

Haaland (23) and Saka (21) are also on the six-man shortlist for the PFA Young Player of the Year Award.

Joining them on the list are Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli, Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey, Brighton’s Evan Ferguson and Chelsea’s British record signing Moisés Caicedo, formerly of Brighton.

The winners of both awards will be announced on Tuesday 29 August at the 50th anniversary of the PFA Awards.
