Peterborough United are growing concerned that Rangers and Birmingham City target Kwame Poku is increasingly likely to leave England, according to Birmingham Live.
The Peterborough winger is set to leave the League One side this summer, with a host of clubs showing interest in him as his contract ticks down.
Scottish giants Rangers, who now have Russell Martin at the helm, are interested in taking Poku to Ibrox.
Birmingham, who ran away with League One and got to see Poku at close quarters throughout the season, are real admirers.
Poku is a player they have been linked with widely this summer and the Croydon-born forward is set to leave the Posh when his deal expires.
If Poku moves within England then Peterborough will be in line for substantial compensation, but a move abroad would bring less cash.
Now, there is a growing concern at Peterborough that the winger could be heading out of England upon his contract expiry.
If he is leaning towards leaving England then that would be bad news for Birmingham, but a possible boost for Rangers.
Chris Davies’ side have been linked with the 23-year-old for a while now, but they are considering other options now after waiting for him.
With Birmingham showing huge ambition and likely to be looking for another promotion next season, joining Blues could be a tempting proposition for Poku.
Rangers though have Champions League qualifiers on the agenda under new boss Russell Martin.
Apart from the Gers and Birmingham, the former Ghana international has interested clubs in Germany.
All eyes will be on where Poku ends up and just how much compensation cash Peterborough can get for the promising winger.
