Peterborough expected to make another move for defender but face competition | OneFootball

Peterborough United are expected to revisit a deal for Bristol Rovers defender Connor Taylor but face competition for his signature, Hayters TV understands.

The League One club have shown previous interest in the 23-year-old and are keen to bring him to London Road this summer.

But they are not the only side interested in signing the centre-back, with other League One clubs also expressing an interest.

Taylor was named Bristol Rovers’ player of the season for the last campaign, making 48 appearances in all competitions for the Gas.

But Rovers, who were relegated to League Two, are understandably keen to get a good fee for their star man.

Taylor signed for Bristol Rovers on a permanent deal in 2023 from Stoke City.

He also spent the 2021/22 campaign on loan at Rovers, playing a key role as they were promoted from League Two before returning to parent club Stoke for a season, where he played 14 times in the Championship.
