Pepsi has announced its new roster of female global ambassadors, including two-time Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas and Chelsea superstar Lauren James. The new faces will take over cities around the world ahead of the upcoming Euro 2025 tournament in Switzerland.
The new names joining existing ambassador Leah Williamson are world-renowned stars who embody excellence, passion and the challenger spirit that defines the brand.
Headlining the new additions are Barcelona and Spain legend Putellas, alongside Chelsea and England’s electrifying forward James, Norway’s dynamic winger Caroline Graham Hansen, and Saudi Arabia’s rising star Farah Jefry. Each are set to make their mark on the global stage this summer.
The new ambassadors reflect the unstoppable momentum of women’s football. A sport breaking records, selling out stadiums and captivating audiences like never before. With a passionate and growing global fan base, the women’s game is now one of the fastest-growing sports in the world.
Pepsi has championed football for more than 50 years. Capturing unforgettable moments, delivering bold taste, and shining a spotlight on legendary athletes. Now, the brand is backing the next generation — players who are rewriting the rules and leaving a lasting legacy.
On joining this campaign, Putellas said: “This is going to be a summer to remember. To do it as part of the Pepsi family is amazing. Our game is the fastest growing sport in the world. I can’t wait for fans to see what we have coming up.”
James, celebrated for her pace, technical brilliance, and game-changing vision, added: “Joining the Pepsi family as a global ambassador and sharing the spotlight with so many incredible athletes is an honour. Get excited for our campaign when it hits the screens.”
To mark her signing, James’ image now lights up the London skyline in Chelsea.
Graham Hansen is one of football’s most respected talents. Her likeness now adorns a stunning mural in Oslo, Norway.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of the global Pepsi family. We’re seeing our game reach new heights, and Pepsi’s support is helping bring that excitement to fans everywhere,” the Barcelona star said.
Jefry, the top scorer in the inaugural Saudi Women’s League, commented: “Pepsi’s legacy with football icons is legendary, and Im still pinching myself. Joining this incredible roster and being part of its next chapter is a dream come true.”
The Pepsi roster continues to expand with inspirational athletes across the globe. Including Denmark’s Signe Bunn and Josefine Hasbo, Sweden’s Stina Blackstenius and Johanna Rytting Kaneryd, Switzerland’s Nadine Riesen and Riola Xhemaili, and Portugal’s Jéssica Silva and Tatiana Pinto.
PepsiCo remains deeply committed to fueling the passion of players, fans, and communities worldwide. Renewing its partnership with UEFA Women’s Football through 2030, the brand pledges continued support for the sport’s growth and development.
Cathy Graham Kidd, Senior Marketing Director at Pepsi, stated: “Our new ambassadors are not only incredible players but have a thirst for more — a drive to succeed. The women’s game has rapidly become a global passion point, gripping audiences with unbeatable entertainment and inspirational athletes.
“For decades, Pepsi has redefined football culture. Now, we’re writing the next chapter — championing the unstoppable rise of women’s football and spotlighting players who inspire fans globally. We’re dedicated to supercharging this global sporting phenomenon and welcoming a new generation of supporters.”
