Ahead of tomorrow nights match Pep Guardiola has provided an update on the fitness of several key players ahead of tomorrow nights match.

Speaking during his pre-game press conference Pep Guardiola explained the situation involving several key players. Speaking about Kevin De Bruyne’s return from a groin injury Guardiola said: “Well, except for Rodri and Oscar, the other ones are in training and getting better, but guys like Kevin for example not exactly fit. It’s not a new issue but he doesn’t feel completely fine. Kevin is not 22 years old he has to be fit for his football. He doesn’t feel comfortable that he can express his incredible potential at his best. He is training better but he doesn’t feel. He said he doesn’t feel good. If you don’t feel good, take your time.”

The City manager also told the media that Kyle Walker is out of tomorrow nights match. City’s captain also missed Manchester City’s 2-1 win over Wolves last Sunday. Guardiola explained that Walker has picked up an injury issue while on international duty with England. He told the media: “I think he is not ready. Since being with the national team he’s not been well.”

Pep Guardiola also informed the media that Oscar Bobb is on track to return in the new year. Bobb is currently out with a fractured leg.
