Ahead of the game at the King Power, Ruud van Nistelrooy opened up on Leicester's plans for the January transfer window:

"There were conversations about that in those two conversations that we had before I signed. We spoke about the winter window and towards the summer. We said that there is no rush to do things and I agree with that. The squad we have is getting all of the chances to prove themselves over this month. There is time after that to make a good assessment and we make a decision in January."

Brighton boss Fabian Hürzeler has spoken about his side's need to turn things around at Leicester on Sunday after last night's defeat to Fulham:

"We didn't do so well in the last game. We tried to regenerate the players today and bring them a bit away from football and get them in a better shape mentally. Then we have one good day tomorrow for preparation and then I'm sure we will be ready to face Leicester."

Unai Emery is speaking at the moment ahead of Aston Villa's clash with Southampton:

"I don’t know exactly which players are available tomorrow. Some are doubts, yesterday some had pain and some are tired. We are going to train now this afternoon. Tomorrow morning, only then it will be clear who will start the match. Jacob Ramsey is still weeks to come back, he is progressing well. Amadou Onana is close to coming back, maybe today he can do something with us. For tomorrow, I don’t know when he will be with us. Maybe Tuesday is easier."

More from Amorim, who believes he's 'getting closer' to knowing United's strongest XI:

"You have an idea, but we have the problem of players returning without training, then we need to manage the load. You have to understand what kind of players you have. For example Bruno Fernandes, he was a little bit tired in the end against Arsenal but you know that he is going to recover very well. If you think about Manuel Ugarte, I've known him for so long and I know he needs a little bit more time. We are in that process of knowing the players and we are managing that. We are getting closer to an idea, yes."

Southampton head to Aston Villa tomorrow and Russell Martin has updated the media on his latest squad availability:

"Jan Bednarek is touch and go. He was going to play on Wednesday but wasn’t quite right on Tuesday at training so we’re giving it another go and will wait and see tomorrow. We were hopeful for big Paul Onuachu to be back but it looks a bit unlikely and will probably be the Spurs game now, but everyone else is ready and available."

Ruben Amorim has revealed Manchester United will be without Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelöf for their home encounter with Nottingham Forest:

"Jonny is still is not training. Victor has returned to training but is not available for tomorrow. Maybe in the next game he will be available. Licha (Lisandro Martínez) and Kobbie [Mainoo] have returned so we are prepared for the game."

Crystal Palace have been handed a boost with Oliver Glasner's update on Adam Wharton's return:

"Adam was out for four weeks, but he trained with us. If he can train completely next week, then maybe he will be available for Brighton. We have Brighton, and then Arsenal twice, and we really hope that he's available for those games."

More from Slot, who's relishing his first and final taste of the Goodison derby:

"To be part of the game is already special but it being the last one at Goodison makes it even more special [but] it’s only a nice experience if the result goes your way. We know we have to be ready against a tough team. The fans will be loud. Everton are a big threat in set pieces. Unnecessary free kicks are not smart for us. We want to be aggressive but in a concentrated and smart way."

An under-fire Julen Lopetegui has spoken frankly about his West Ham tenure and whether the players are still with him:

"I don't have anything to say against my players. I will not talk bad about my players, I accept all the responsibility and pressure. That is why I am the coach. My players have to enjoy their profession. They are demanding with themselves and to believe in them is the most important thing."

Some more from Maresca, who's been assessing how Chelsea are progressing this season:

"We are ahead of my expectations. It's because the players are doing fantastic. Probably the reason why is because we focus on the day by day and seeing how we can improve players. No more than that."

Mikel Arteta going bold in his presser after Arsenal closed the gap on Liverpool at the Premier League summit to seven points.

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot delivers some more positive updates heading into tomorrow's final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.

Some big injury news from Pep Guardiola this afternoon ahead of Manchester City's trip to Crystal Palace.

Chelsea travel to Spurs for Sunday's London derby and Enzo Maresca admits that he's still a few bodies light ahead of the trip across the capital. Mykhailo Mudryk is also sidelined by illness.
