Alfredo Pedulla anticipates that Inter Milan could make the surprise decision to extend the contract of Marko Arnautovic.
The SportItalia transfer market reported on his YouTube channel that the Nerazzurri could reward the Austrian’s excellent recent form by keeping him in the squad.
At the moment, Marko Arnautovic is only under contract with Inter Milan until the end of June.
The former West Ham United and Bologna striker is still on the same contract that he signed in 2023, when he joined the Nerazzurri.
Inter only signed Arnautovic on a two-year deal. And it always appeared clear that the Nerazzurri’s intention was only to have the Austrian as a short-term squad depth player.
Furthermore, this season Arnautovic has hardly been a regular starter for Inter. He has also had a few injury issues.

For months, the assumption has been that Arnautovic would leave Inter at the end of the season.
However, that has not prevented the 36-year-old from making his contribution down the stretch.
Marko Arnautovic has scored key goals for Inter against the likes of Lazio, Monza, Udinese, and Cagliari. He has proven his worth when he has started over the last few weeks.
Arnautovic has experience, and a good rapport in the dressing room.
And the Austrian will almost certainly have the opportunity to give even more as Inter coach Simone Inzaghi rotates his squad in the next few intense weeks.
Therefore, reports Pedulla, it is not out of the question that Inter could decide to keep Arnautovic around.
The SportItalia transfer expert anticipates that Inter may well offer the 36-year-old a new short-term deal.
