Two days on from lifting the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup in Stuttgart, Bayern have now turned their focus to their opening Bundesliga game of 2025/26 against RB Leipzig on Friday (8.30pm CEST). Vincent Kompany’s team have an intense week of training before raising the curtain on the league campaign at the Allianz Arena.

There was good news from Säbener Straße as well, as Aleksandar Pavlović completed parts of Monday’s session with the team. The 21-year-old midfielder was wearing a protective face mask after having to undergo surgery on a fractured eye socket suffered in training earlier in August. The Germany international is now edging closer to a return, while Hiroki Ito (metatarsal) and Paul Wanner (ankle) completed individual running sessions earlier in the morning.
