Paulo Dybala was forced to come off at half-time of tonight’s match with Athletic Club due to a physical issue.
As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, at the end of the first half of the match between Roma and Athletic Club, Paulo Dybala had to leave the field due to a muscle problem.
The Argentine striker, whose decision to replace him seemed to be dictated by a tactical reason, felt stiffness in his flexor muscle during the first half and, as a precaution, was taken off by coach Ivan Juric.
The choice of the Roma technical staff, in agreement with the player, was therefore of a prudent nature, considering the delicacy of the situation and the team’s future commitments in the league and cup.
In any case, further tests in the next few hours will better clarify the extent of the injury and the recovery times.
