Paolo Montero set to take interim charge of Juventus | OneFootball

Juventus Primavera boss Paolo Montero is set to take interim charge of Juventus’ first team after the sacking of manager Max Allegri.

The Italian has now departed the club and that has been confirmed by the Bianconeri, who stated that his actions do not match their values. As a result, the Old Lady have been left to look at an interim manager who can manage the side till the end of the campaign.

Sky Italia confirm that Primavera boss Montero will take temporary charge of the Bianconeri. The announcement hasn’t been made today because Montero is currently serving a one-game ban from the Under-19s side and the official statement can arrive tomorrow.

The club’s U19s side play against Frosinone tomorrow and this will make sure that Montero has served his suspension and would be able to manage the first-team from the Bologna game onwards.

If Juve do not win the next two games, they could finish as low as fifth in the Serie A this season.
