It would appear that the summer transfer window is likely to get tricky for FC Barcelona to navigate through. Still, the Catalan club remains fully aware of their limitations and what is feasible for them. Unfortunately, however, those limitations are hindering Barcelona quite a lot.
Due to a limited salary space and an inability to make any significant transfer approach at the moment, FC Barcelona are left stranded. Their direct competitors and rivals, on the other hand, are already busy reinforcing their respective squads.
In fact, Barcelona target Luis Diaz is also wanted by Bayern Munich and the Bavarians have wasted no time in sending forth a formal proposal. While it might have been rejected, it is clear as day that Barça is not in a position to make the same kind of advances.
Their priority for now, as per reports at least, is to offload certain players and free up space. Recently, the departures of Ansu Fati and Pablo Torre helped the club do that to an extent, but it seems likely that other departures might be needed as well.
One such departure could be that of German goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen. However, to offload a player through a sale any club needs suitors or formal offers. In Ter Stegen’s case, there seems to be a rather frustrating reality to accept.

According to journalist Alex Pintanel, there are currently no offers or formal proposals for the Barcelona captain. While there has been interest from clubs such as Galatasaray and AS Monaco, it has not materialised into any kind of proper offer so far.
Moreover, the journalist did suggest that other Champions League clubs have shown interest as well, but just like the rest they have not sent forward any kind of transfer offer. Unfortunately for the club, that sale option seems to be looking increasingly more difficult.
However, the journalist did state that the club has been clear with the player about his new situation within the squad. They also hope that he will end up leaving on his own, but the way in which that happens remains a big question for now.
According to other reports, however, Barcelona is primarily concerned with a mutual termination of his contract. However, the only scenario in which the club would reportedly grant him the letter of freedom would be if the player asks for it himself.
