Reiss Nelson was one such player

Formerly lauded as one for the future for the Gunners and a player who many felt would, along with the likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka, be the tip of the spear for the Premier League giants for years to come.

Though his future now likely rests away from the club, it was not all that long ago when Nelson made perhaps his biggest contribution.

On this day in 2023, Nelson hit a sensational volley to complete Arsenal's comeback in a 3-2 win at the Emirates against Bournemouth, sending the home support into rapture.
