Osimhen sends three-word message to Napoli after official Galatasaray transfer

Victor Osimhen thanked Napoli on social media after completing a permanent move to Galatasaray: ‘Thanks for everything.’
Nigerian forward Osimhen showed his gratitude to Napoli with an Instagram message on Thursday.
Napoli and Osimhen confirmed the striker’s permanent transfer to Turkey yesterday and the striker thanked his former club on social media.

“Grazie per tutto,” Osimhen wrote on Instagram, adding a few pictures from his time at the Stadio Maradona.
Osimhen massively contributed to Napoli’s Scudetto in 2022-23, becoming the Serie A top goal scorer in that season.

Napoli had been waiting for the Scudetto for 33 years, since the Diego Armando Maradona era.
Several former and current Napoli players commented on Osimhen’s latest social media post, including PSG star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who called Osimhen “a legend” in one of the comments.

Napoli defender Juan Jesus wrote: “You are part of the story. And I always wish you the best. God bless you and good luck.”
Osimhen spent the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Galatasaray, scoring 37 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions.
He had netted 76 goals in 133 appearances with Napoli from 2020 to 2024.
