On-loan Man United star Antony’s impressive La Liga start continues with goal vs Celta Vigo | OneFootball

The impressive start to life being enjoyed by Manchester United star Antony with Real Betis has on Saturday continued.

Wide-man Antony, of course, secured a move to Spain during the January transfer window, after being granted a loan move to the aforementioned Betis for the remainder of the campaign.

The Brazilian was afforded his debut last weekend, and shone en route to Man of the Match honours in a 2-2 draw with Athletic Club.

Antony, in turn, was handed a 2nd successive starting berth this afternoon.

Real Betis are currently locked in action, in a La Liga meeting with Celta Vigo at Balaídos, leading their hosts by two goals to nil.

And it was that man Antony who opened the scoring in the clash.

After the ball dropped kindly at his feet inside the Celta penalty area inside the 10-minute mark, the former Ajax man composed himself, before picking out the far corner courtesy of a fine left-footed finish.
