Having taken the prize in September, Omar Marmoush has also been named as the Mainova Player of the Month for October by the Eintracht community
Eintracht Frankfurt had three tough Bundesliga matches in October. A home game against leaders Bayern Munich (3-3) was followed by a visit to last season’s double winners Bayer 04 Leverkusen (a 2-1 defeat) and a trip to a strong Union Berlin side (1-1).
While the results could have been better, the mood in the Eagles’ camp remains positive given the impressive performances shown by Dino Toppmöller’s side, whose upward trend is reflected by them sitting in third place a quarter of the way through season.
Omar Marmoush has played a leading role in that, and Eintracht fans voted him as Mainova Player of the Month for October with almost three quarters of the votes, making it back-to-back victories for the Egyptian after also taking the September honours.
The forward is currently in outstanding form, is among the best attackers in the Bundesliga, wins plenty of duels, covers a lot of ground for the team and is extremely difficult to defend against.
