Oleksandr Zinchenko has changed his squad number at Arsenal from 35 to 17.
The number has been vacated by the departure of CĂ©dric Soares, and the Ukraine international has revealed the reason for the switch.

âThe number 17 is a very special number to me,â the defender told the clubâs official website.
âIt was the number I wore as a young player, and Iâve always requested to wear 17 when playing for my country.â
Zinchenko also revealed that if any supporters have already purchased the new seasonâs kit with the number 35, the club will switch it to 17 free of charge.
