Speaking about his decisive goal against Zambia, Ogam told Pan Africa Football:"I praise the coach for giving me the chance to be here, and being part of the team. It is a great feeling for any player, and maybe I was lucky to be part of it, or maybe I deserved it.."He added:" This man (McCarthy), I thank him so much, because he is helping us a lot, integrating us as a team, and I would say because he was a key striker too, he is pushing me to get back to my levels, and even more."Ogam’s standout performances against Morocco and Zambia have caught the eye of several professional clubs. FAR Rabat is considering signing him to replace departing Congolese striker Joel Beya, who is moving to the Bahraini league, while Raja Casablanca and Maghreb Fès have also expressed interest. It’s worth noting that Ryan Ogam, just 20 years old, has already scored twice in this CHAN and currently plays for Tusker FC in Kenya.
