Indeed, Kylian Mbappe is back in the France squad and in the lineup, after not being a part of the setup previous two international breaks in late 2024.

The Real Madrid megastar even captains the team as he squares off against his club teammate Luka Modric, who will be leading Croatia.

Mbappe lines up alongside PSG’s Ousmane Dembele, who has been in red-hot form in 2025 and Randal Kolo Muani in the France attacking unit.

Meanwhile Aurelien Tchouameni is also named in the starting lineup for Les Bleus, although Eduardo Camavinga misses out.

Interestingly, two of Real Madrid’s centre-back targets for the summer, William Saliba of Arsenal and Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konate, both feature for France tonight.
