Robin Risser (20) has completed a move from RC Strasbourg Alsace to RC Lens. The France youth international has signed a five-year deal with the side.

Lens have already lost two goalkeepers this summer. Hervé Koffi has left to join SCO Angers on a loan deal, whilst Mathew Ryan departed following the expiry of his short-term deal with the club. He was brought in to compensate for the departure of Brice Samba, who left Les Sang et Or to join Stade Rennais in January.

There has now been further change between the sticks, although this arrival is one made with the long term in mind. Risser, a France U21 international, impressed while on loan with Red Star in Ligue 2 last season.

He has now joined Lens. The deal is thought to be worth €3m, plus another €2m in bonuses. BlueCo-owned Strasbourg have retained a 25% sell-on percentage on the goalkeeper.
