Real Madrid will be aiming to close the gap to the top of the La Liga table as they take on Athletic Club later tonight at San Mames.
Following Barcelona’s 5-1 triumph over RCD Mallorca on Tuesday, Los Blancos are again four points behind the leaders and will be eager to cut down the difference with a win at San Mames.
Ahead of the game, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has announced the starting XI that will be taking the field against the Basque club.
There has been one notable change made by the head coach as Aurelien Tchouameni, back from his injury, returns to the starting XI, at the expense of Brahim Diaz.
The Frenchman lines up at the base of the midfield while Federico Valverde and Dani Ceballos line up as the interiors with Jude Bellingham playing as the attacking midfielder.
Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe and Rodrygo Goes line up as the two forwards for the visitors. As for the defence, the backline remains unchanged with Lucas Vazquez, Raul Asencio, Antonio Rudiger, and Fran Garcia shielding Thibaut Courtois in goal.
