PSG have officially completed the signing of Italian goalkeeper Renato Marin on a free transfer, after his contract with Roma expired at the end of last month.
The 19-year-old, who has 13 appearances for Italy U19 and spent half of last season on the bench for the Giallorossi first team, has put pen to paper in a five-year deal that will keep him in Paris until 2030, as per the French club’s official website.

Marin has spent five years in Italy after joining the Roma youth academy from Brazilian club São Paulo. Since then, the youth international has played nearly 50 times in Primavera with the Giallorossi and earned his call-ups to the Italy U19 side.
Now, Marin is set to embark on a new chapter in his career – following in the footsteps of PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who also left Italy for the French capital, albeit the two are at very different stages in their career.
Speaking to PSG’s official website, Marin said “I am very happy to join this great team; it’s a great opportunity for me. It’s a dream come true. I would like to thank President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Luis Campos, coach Luis Enrique, and his staff for this opportunity. I will give my best for them and for the fans.”
