Official: Pierre Kalulu joins Juventus on loan with option to buy – the figures | OneFootball

This evening, Juventus announced the signing of Pierre Kalulu on an initial loan deal. The transfer had been in the pipeline for a few days as the Bianconeri had reached an agreement with AC Milan, missing the go-ahead from the player.

Kalulu was left out of Milan’s squad for both the Monza and Torino games amid the advanced negotiations with Juventus. However, it took a little more time for the deal to get over the line as the player took his time to make the final decision.

On their official website this evening, Juventus announced that they have completed the signing of the Frenchman and the figures of the deal were also confirmed…

“Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an agreement with AC Milan for the temporary acquisition, until 30 June 2025, of the registration rights of the player Pierre Kazeye Rommel Kalulu Kyatengwa has been finalized for a consideration of €3.3 million, payable in two financial years.

“The agreement further entails the right for Juventus to definitively acquire the player’s registration rights. The agreed consideration for the potential definitive acquisition is €14 million, payable in three financial years; this consideration may be increased up to a maximum of €3 million over the duration of the player’s contract, upon the achievement of further performance objectives,” the statement read.

Milan also put out an official statement but they were a lot more cryptic, simply stating that Kalulu has joined Juventus on loan with option to buy. It is also believed that the option could turn into an obligation to buy under certain conditions.
