Official: One return as Real Madrid name squad for Real Oviedo clash | OneFootball

The squad of players called upon by Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso for the club’s 2nd outing of the term has on Saturday been unveiled.

And it features one altogether noteworthy return.

Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action tomorrow evening.

After putting Osasuna to the sword by a goal to nil in their season opener earlier this week, a trip to newly-promoted Real Oviedo on this occasion lies in wait for Los Blancos.

On Saturday, as is customary, the capital heavyweights in turn unveiled their travelling squad for the fixture.

And as much features a major return, in the form of Antonio Rüdiger. After sitting out the final game of a suspension dating back to last season against Osasuna, stopper Rüdiger is now available for selection once more.

Also included is breakout midfield talent Thiago Pitarch, alongside all of Real Madrid’s summer signings.
