Official Newcastle United injury update – Availability for the Wolves match and beyond:

Jamaal Lascelles – Long-term injured and still unavailable, could be another two months before he is eventually available again
Emil Krafth – Was rumoured to be returning to the squad on Sunday after his shoulder injury but no sign against Bromley.
Callum Wilson – The striker said to be making good progress but not expected back for this Wolves match.
Nick Pope – The keeper set to return soon from his knee injury, Eddie Howe previously said he was doing well and could be available around six weeks after picking up the injury, so could be looking at around about the Bournemouth match this weekend, or shortly after.
Harvey Barnes – Eddie Howe says he is set to be out for around a month after picking up a thigh injury against Bromley.
Alexander Isak, Sven Botman, Joe Willock, Jacob Murphy – Eddie Howe says he is hopeful that all of this quartet will be available for the Wolves game, having been rested at the weekend.
The NUFC Head Coach going into more detail on a couple of that quartet.
Eddie Howe on Alexander Isak:
“He’ll be desperate to play of course.
“I’d love Alex to continue to score but the most important thing for me is the team is functioning well for him and he’s functioning well for the team.
“The two go hand in hand.
“We have looked like scoring goals recently and that’s such a big thing for our confidence levels.
“Hopefully that continues.”
Eddie Howe on Sven Botman:
“It is always a balance because after two big physical games, with Sven we needed to rest and recover.
“There was a few warning signs that he was going into a fatigue.
“Then of course you need to get back up and running again because the schedule is unrelenting.
“There’s a few we will assess, we will try to make the right calls for them individually.”
