Morlaye Sylla has officially signed a contract with Damac FC, a club competing in the Saudi Pro League, until June 2027. The player was officially unveiled in his new colors this Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

After several weeks of speculation, the news is now official. Morlaye Sylla is leaving Arouca (Portugal) to join Saudi Arabia. He has committed to two seasons with an option for a third at Damac FC, an ambitious club in the Saudi Pro League, which continues its strategic recruitment by betting on promising African talents. The announcement was made this Tuesday by Damac FC via their social media, accompanied by photos of the player signing his contract in the club's colors.

Discovered at Horoya AC in Guinea, Morlaye Sylla made the jump to Europe in 2022 by signing with Arouca in the Portuguese top flight. He quickly established himself as a key midfielder thanks to his vision, passing ability, and fighting spirit. His performances in Portugal caught the eye of several other clubs, but it was Damac FC that ultimately secured the transfer.
