Monza confirm the appointment of ex-Serie A defender Salvatore Bocchetti as their new first-team coach to replace the fired Alessandro Nesta.
Serie A strugglers Monza confirmed the appointment of Bocchetti as their new first-team coach on Monday afternoon.
The Brianzoli said Bocchetti had signed a contract until June 30, 2027.

Monza sit at the rock bottom of the Serie A table with 10 points in 17 matches. They have won just one Serie A game this season and lost 2-1 to Juventus on Sunday.
Nesta remains under contract with Monza until June 2025.
Bocchetti has little Serie A coaching experience, although he joined Marco Zaffaroni at Hellas Verona in the second half of 2022-23, helping the Gialloblu avoid relegation to Serie B.
Bocchetti will make his Monza debut on Saturday in a crucial match against direct rivals Parma at the Stadio Tardini.
His first home game will be the first one of 2025 for Monza against Cagliari, another rival in the race to avoid relegation to second division.
