Norwegian international centre-forward Joshua King (33) has announced on his Instagram account that he will leave Ligue 1 side Toulouse FC. The former AFC Bournemouth striker joined the Garonne club as a free agent last summer, putting pen to paper over a one-year deal. King featured 30 times in all competitions with Toulouse. He recorded six goals and four assists for Carles Martinez Novell’s Toulouse side.

“It was a pleasure to wear the shirt and play for this club. A lot of ups and downs, but a great experience for me and my family… Merci Toulouse FC”, wrote King. L’Equipe understands that King and Toulouse mutually agreed not to extend their collaboration as the Ligue 1 side seeks a younger centre-forward. The outlet adds that 2018 World Cup winner with France, Djibril Sidibé, is in talks over a contract extension at Toulouse, which have finished the Ligue 1 season in tenth place.
