Here is the official starting eleven that Barcelona is set to field for this clash.

In goal, Wojciech Szczesny retains his place as the team’s starting goalkeeper. The Polish veteran remains unbeaten whenever he has started so far for the team this season, and this is a great opportunity to keep that record going.

Ahead of him, Ronald Araujo and Pau Cubarsi are the two starting centre-backs for the team. They will need to be at their very best in terms of both their defensive duties as well as their ball progression throughout this game.

On their flanks, Gerard Martin and Jules Kounde will start as the two full-backs. They will likely have a lot of ground to cover, but they have proven that they possess the stamina and quality to make sure that they can do just that.

In the midfield, Gavi and Frenkie de Jong start as the two Barcelona players in the double pivot. Their technical qualities, alongside their work-rate and vision, will all be called into action in what is sure to be an intense game.

Right in front of those two, Raphinha and Lamine Yamal will be the two starting wingers for Barcelona. In between them, Fermin Lopez will also take his place as the team’s starting central attacking midfielder.

Up top, Robert Lewandowski starts as the team’s primary centre-forward. He will look to find the back of the net with the chances that come his way, and he will need to make sure that his conversion is at its best in order to worry Borussia Dortmund as much as possible.
