Official: Barcelona announce latest player sale | OneFootball

La Liga champions Barcelona have this weekend made official the latest permanent departure from the club’s first-team ranks.

The player to have moved on? Pau Víctor.

The name of frontman Víctor had of course suddenly emerged as a prominent one in the chatter across Catalunya’s capital over the last 48 hours.

This came after word was forthcoming that the 23-year-old was the subject of serious transfer interest on the part of Portuguese outfit SC Braga.

No longer required in Hansi Flick’s squad following the arrival of Marcus Rashford, Barcelona, in turn, quickly sanctioned a sale to secure for themselves some welcome funds.

And as alluded to above, this weekend, Víctor’s transfer has been made official.

As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of the Blaugrana:

‘Agreement reached between FC Barcelona and Sporting Clube de Braga for the transfer of the player Pau Víctor.

‘The Club wishes him the best of luck and every success in his future personal and professional endeavours.’
